B.O.Y.S. - Design Week 2015 - SKY Arte HD
For the furniture fair in 2015 we interpreted the presence of SKY Arte HD in Souvenir de Milan with an installation that allowed the performance of 5 artists in as many live evenings.
SKY Arte HD asked me and to my team to study an innovative installation for their participation at the Design Week 2015 in Milano. The output was something really innovative, a live interactive installation that would be a platform to host the performances of 5 artists, hybridising various technologies and architectures.
In pre-established moments, during the performance, the façade was transformed to host a selection of thematic promotions on design and a social wall that had the aim of celebrating the contents created by people on instagram.
The work of the 5 artists that was created live, every evening on the facade of Palazzo Mezzanotte was taken up with time lapse in very high definition (standard in the documentation of works of art) to create a functional content both for sharing via web and social media, and as a historical memory of the works.
To complete the experience a second video installation that reinterpreted the work "Souvenir De Milan" by Maurizio Catellan wrapping it in a multi-projection video of the Artist with" Toilet Paper "theme.
The public work involved 16,000 people in 5 days.
