BATTIATO @ HANGAR BICOCCA - Sky Arte HD
SKY Arte HD asked us to create a site specific media art installation to Celebrate the exclusive concert of Franco Battiato with the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra, and to create a landscape for the video production of a documentary on the Artist.
The challenge was big, as the installation we had to design: To place an innovative sound reactive branded video installation inside the 'Sette Palazzi Celesti' by Anselm Kiefer.
We designed, 3 boxes "8 mt long x 3 mt height" with video led surfaces (on both long sides each) to create a dialogue between the towers and the live happening.
As video content we decided to 100% celebrate the live happening.
We created a software able to capture HD live video images from the cameras filming the concert, and to re-elaborate the video flow in real time, with inserts of generative contents based on a live sound reactive algorithm.
The final result was something really new, unexpected but perfectly aligned with the location, and the protagonists, the two artists (Battiato & Kiefer), the music, and the participants.
